Calling all educators!
Always in search of fresh ideas to make History and Social Studies come alive for your students? Or seeking fun ways to teach languages and Character & Citizenship Education?
Take learning out of the classroom and visit the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre’s permanent exhibition! Students can look forward to learning more about our distinctive Chinese Singaporean culture through interactive experiences and familiar themes such as food, language and customs.
Choose either a self-guided visit, where you may lead students through the exhibition, or opt for a guided tour led by our trained facilitators. If you prefer to end the visit with a creative making process, then choose from our carefully designed array of guided tours with workshops.
We offer guided tours (with workshops) for:
- Primary Schools
- Secondary Schools
- Junior Colleges/ Centralised Institutes/ Institute of Technical Education
- Special Education Schools
Pre-bookings are required for all school group visits (whether self-guided or guided).
You can also sign up for our Sessions for Educators, where you can gauge how easily your students can guide themselves in this interactive exhibition, look at the specially designed resources and sign up to be on the mailing list for educators.
This permanent exhibition will open from 1 March 2020 through to 31 December 2024. Our gallery is open daily from 10am – 8pm. School groups may request to visit the exhibition earlier at 9am. A minimum of 20 students is required for such requests.
